-We usually recommend a crew of 4 people with 1candid photographer, 2 videographers and 1 still photographer. The crew works as one coherent team with different cameramen specializing in different lenses and styles. This choreographed, multi-camera setup allows us to position ourselves strategically to capture ceremonies more naturally as they take place, without any hindrance.

-The expenses for the travel, food and accommodation for the crewmembers are usually borne by the client unless decided otherwise or factored in as a package deal.
4) Do you capture the other pre-wedding functions like mandav, grahpravesh and satyanarayan?
- Yes, we do but they are not included in the package amount, forevery other function with one photographer and 1 videographer we charge 15000/- extra
5) What all things does a candid photographer capture?
-The candid photographer captures the couple portraits, the couple candids in the ceremonies and the first family’s portraits (Only if time permits on their availability)

6) What are the common deliverables that we can expect as part of the package?
-In the standard package, we deliver two different versions of the wedding film and all the edited digital photographs that include both candid and documentary style. The two versions of films include –
• 1500-2000 high quality edited photos will be provided in a pen drive.
• All raw photos from the events (number will vary subjected to the events)
• The cinematic film (CF) - A 4–5-minutes film that can be released on social networking sites for the friends and family to see, reminisce and cherish.
• The Highlight film (HL) - A 20-25 minute highlight film of the best moments of the wedding on select songs interspersed with the story as narrated by the couple and their loved ones.
OR
• Full wedding Films (FF) - The entire footage of the main events like the sangeet, wedding ceremony etc. in a film format edited minimally on ambient sounds blended with soft instrumental music.
7) How much in advance do I need to book you?
-Considering how few weddings we confirm each year, it’s only fair we give every enquiry a fair chance to book our dates. Irrespective of how much or how less your wedding may cost, it’s a first come-first serve world.
8) Who decides the music and film name for the Highlight film?
-Music and song selections are collectively done by the creative team, the client, and the edit team. A client co-ordinator is assigned for this under the guidance of the creative visualizer of the project.
9) Do you work for both sides?
-Yes. We work for both sides, and we insist on doing so as both the couple and their families are involved in making this big day come together, so having a dedicated team works perfectly in making the results balanced.
10) What is your payment process?
-We take 40% of the total amount at the time of the booking, 50% of the total amount a week prior to the wedding day, the pending 10% at the time of the deliverables.
11) Why do you take 90% of the amount prior to the event?
-So, we’re asked this very often, and we absolutely consider the client’s concern regarding this. However, right from the process of documentation, to making up the team for the wedding, deciding on the equipment to the process of the deliverables, everything comes with a cost. We’d love to treat every story, whether is a lavish destination wedding or an intimate wedding at home, with the grandeur & importance it deserves. Moreover, every aspect, some of which mentioned above, isbased on the trust we place on each other.

-We use Sony alpha series full frame cameras

13)In what resolution will the pictures be clicked - whether HD format?
-All the photos that we deliver are high resolution images

14) Time in which the picture album will be given. How many pictures will be captured here in that album? Whether the pictures captured will be candid or
traditional?
We do not capture any event with an intention of putting the pictures in album. The event will be captured in the best possible manner, where all the photos will be delivered to the client in the edited format. Then the client can choose 200-250 photos (which they find best) from the delivered pictures which will be final processed for the album. We recommend the selection of both candid and traditional
photos for the album

15) Are there any specific requirements in terms of venue/stage lighting and other aspects of the setup for the best photo and video results? How can we ensure that the photography team has the best resources at hand to create magic?
Good lighting is a pre-requisite for great photos and videos. If a few simple things are taken care of at the planning stage, the job is half done. Go for natural lighting instead of tinted hues and ensure that the stage, mandap etc. are well lit especially in the night. The spatial design should be such that it allows the crew to cover the event from multiple angles for a good variety in footage - always advise your planner to keep in mind the space needed by photographers in case of over-crowded events. It’s a good idea to have some extra time at hand before each event for couple shots - it doesn’t take more than 20-25 minutes, but ensures that the couple has some stunning portraits before the hair, makeup and outfits make their way to the dance floor - to never come back the way they were!

16) What if our deliveries are delayed by Wedding Log?
It is rare that the delivery of the film is delayed beyond 100 days. But it is possible that the director of film is unhappy with some portions of the film and requests for a revision / re-edit - in which case a delay might happen. All we can say is that it is for the benefit of the film and the client. Most great cinema blockbusters have been delayed but have usually turned out better due to the re-edit. So it's all in good spirit. We apologize for the inconvenience (should a delay happen) but assure you that we will not release anything that we don't absolutely adore. So please be patient and give us time to work our magic.

17) Why does it take 100 days for the delivery of our wedding HL film?
Film editing is a tedious and creative process and we work with some of the best editors in the industry who are perfectionists and believe in the highest quality of film editing. After seeing hours and hours of footage they select the best of the best shots for the HL film and naturally all this takes time. As a thumb-rule, each minute of final edit takes about one day to finalize once the final edit begins. Rest assured, once you see your final HL film, the wait will be well worth the time.
